David Jacques Joins AGS
The NYSE-listed provider of slot, table, and interactive gaming products has chosen seasoned expert in gaming technology David Jacques for the position.
Jacques will directly report to John Hemberger, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Table Products while overseeing the engineering team responsible for AGS’ table games division.
His focus will be on product design and development, project engineering, and rolling out new products.
He will also manage supplier technical support, along with risk and asset management and, quality assurance and process improvements.
Working alongside AGS’ senior leadership, Jacques will help drive the company’s strategic vision while ensuring continued innovation in table game offerings.

Commenting on the decision, Hemberger praised Jacques’ “wealth of experience and proven leadership in table game technology”.

Before joining AGS, he spent four years as Senior Director of Software Development at Light & Wonder and another four years as Director of Software Development.
Before that, he was DEQ Systems’ Chief Technology Officer for 12 years, where he specialized in bonus systems for table games.
His extensive industry experience in engineering management and product innovation makes him well-positioned to lead AGS’ table games division in the future.
While AGS will keep strengthening its foothold in the gaming sector, Jacques’ leadership is expected to become instrumental in helping reshape the company’s table games portfolio and offering top-quality solutions to global casino partners.
